These days every politician wants to garb themselves in a mantle of green and act the part of an environmentalist. Except perhaps for Mr. Harper, whose response to environmental questions seems to be limited to reducing taxes on jet fuel and putting more coast guard ships in the Arctic to protect our now unfrozen coastlines.
