Keep it Green

I posted a blog last week? but don't see it anywhere on here..never mind...

I am living in hope that our government who ever is elected understands the crisis we are in regarding our environment. My hat goes off to Jack Layton who took the time to go to the artic and check out what is actually going on with the ice melts... I pray he is sincere and if he is then he gets my vote.. I have in the past voted for the green party, but they worry me somewhat as they sometimes sound a little bit on the fanatic side...

I think our next governing body has to put into place strict guidelines for our manufactures.. ie: making sure all packing is reyclable, organic or returnable to the manufacture for safe disposal. This should also include any and all imported goods.

The automobile industry needs to stop making cars that run on gas... this the governing body is also responsible for they are the ones who can impliment the change over. As long as our cars run on gas and we keep making them, we are not owning up to the problem of climate change. The people will not understand the crisis we are in unless our governing body puts changes into place, as long as they continue with the status quo the people will believe there is no problem. It is like a parent telling a child not worry, as everything will come out in the wash, without anything being done to "wash" it.

I have posted Dr. Suzuki's letter (recieved through my email) onto my site, urging others to vote environment. www.serenityonline.ca

I hope for the best always, and despite the negatives I see around me each day, such as people continuing to buy gas guzzling vehicles regardless of the price, In my heart I have to believe we will not go the way of the dinosaur...

Peace and Blessings...
