Canadians treat reducing greenhouse gases as something that is virtuous do to, but hardly mandatory.

We have to get the message through that emitting greenhouse gases, is stupider than:

1. poking fork in a toaster.

2. sitting in your car in a garage with the engine running.

3. giving your baby a screwdriver to poke into an AC socket.

4. putting a plastic bag over your head.

This these foolish acts will kill at most a few people. Greenhouse gas emissions will kill billions. People who emit greenhouse gasses, are unwittingly trying to outdo Hitler in killing.

The effect is cumulative. An analogy might be, there is no problem if flood water rises to 3 feet.  It gets a bit problematic at 5 feet, but it will kill you at 7 feet.
